November 2016

We were about to start to take down the tea tree that needs to come down (as it would be in the middle of the house) but before we took it down we took advantage of the fact that there was a ladder there that would lift us up to the right height to see what kind of view we would get from the second storey of the new house. It was actually quite and impressive view.

It has even inspired Joel to start talking about a potential third storey (not so sure about that!).

Somehow it looks more impressive in person compared to the photos.

And this is the tree as it came down, right onto the boundary fence with the neighbour. Luckily this fence has to go for the bigger project anyway!

We thought that we had better capture some shots about what the houses and sites looked like before we started works next week. The digger for the new water tanks for 119 First View Ave is coming on December 1 so once those holes are dug we are going to be in a mess for a long time!

The image below shows the scope of the works that we are about to start on December 1st with the water tanks in the front yard of 119 First View Ave.
